NJ-ACEP 2022 Scientific Assembly


Program Description

The New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians is proud to present this year’s exciting program.  The annual meeting has been designed and coordinated by Dr. Marc Berenson, NJ-ACEP Education Committee Chair and Dr. Patrick Hinfey, NJ-ACEP President.

The Scientific Assembly offers current information on timely issues and current techniques to help emergency physicians, residents and emergency health care providers enhance their practice. The courses will be presented by faculty selected for outstanding teaching ability and expertise in their specified field within emergency medicine. This years program include the following topics: observation medicine, GI bleed management, toxicology cases, pediatric management, professional skills, and brain injury guidelines.   The program will conclude with an afternoon Residents Competition.

A block of rooms is reserved at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Somerset at a special rate of $129 per night for Tuesday, September 6.  Please call (732) 627-8483 and provide code New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (NJ-ACEP).  Reservations must be made no later than August 15.

Research Poster Presentation

All posters will be displayed at 7:00 am on September 7. The posters will be judged by a panel from the NJ-ACEP Board of Directors and the winner will receive a monetary award.  Instructions: Send abstract and cover letter to Lauren Myers at lmyers@amrms.com . Deadline for submissions is August 19, 2022.
